This policy outlines Akinji Entertainment’s official artificial intelligence policy regarding the use of AI tools across all facets of our business. It is applicable to both co-founders and future collaborators, contractors, or contributors representing Akinji Entertainment.

We are committed to creating games that are genuinely human-made. The creativity, writing, art, design, and storytelling that characterize our products are crafted by human artists and designers. This policy guarantees that our dedication to authentic, human-created content is maintained and effectively communicated to our community.

At Akinji Entertainment, we maintain a strict artificial intelligence policy, which emphasizes that we do not employ AI tools usage in the creation of our creative content. This commitment encompasses a range of areas, including: 

- Game writing, narrative design, and worldbuilding 

- Ruleset and mechanics design 

- Artwork, illustration, and graphic design 

- Character, setting, and lore development 

- Supplemental and expansion content 

All creative output published under the Akinji Entertainment name is the original work of our dedicated human team.

AI tools usage may be leveraged for internal business and administrative functions, as well as for specific marketing activities as outlined below, ensuring that no AI-generated creative content is included in our published products. Permitted uses include:  

- Business communications and correspondence drafting (reviewed and edited by a human before sending)  

- Scheduling, organization, and task management assistance  

- Research summaries and background information gathering  

- Grammar and spell-checking of human-written content  

- Administrative document preparation (excluding creative assets)  

- Marketing strategy planning and brainstorming  

In accordance with our artificial intelligence policy, any use of AI in administrative contexts must remain entirely behind the scenes. AI-generated text intended for internal purposes must be thoroughly reviewed and edited by a human prior to sharing publicly under the Akinji Entertainment name.

AI tools usage may assist with certain external-facing marketing content, adhering to the conditions outlined below. In all cases, the foundational creative assets (artwork, game content, photography) must be entirely human-made and must not be altered or modified by AI in any way. Permitted marketing uses under our artificial intelligence policy include: 

- Social media post copy, captions, and scheduling (using existing human-made assets without AI modification) 

- Product descriptions for our games, expansions, and supplements on retail and crowdfunding platforms 

- Podcast episode titles, descriptions, and show notes 

- Newsletter and email marketing copy 

- Kickstarter and Patreon campaign page copy (excluding creative content excerpts) 

All AI-assisted marketing copy must undergo review, editing, and approval by a human team member before publication. Akinji Entertainment retains full responsibility for all published content, regardless of the tools used in its creation.

The following uses of AI tools are strictly prohibited under Akinji Entertainment's artificial intelligence policy: 

- Using AI to generate, draft, or substantially enhance any creative content intended for publication. 

- Using AI-generated artwork or images in any published product, marketing material, or official channel. 

- Using AI to generate game mechanics, rules text, or system design that is published without full human redesign. 

- Representing AI-generated content as human-made. 

- Using AI tools in ways that violate the terms of service of our publishing platforms (including Kickstarter and Patreon).

Akinji Entertainment is committed to being transparent with our community about our AI tools usage and our artificial intelligence policy. We will: Publish this policy publicly on our website and Kickstarter/Patreon pages, Clearly state on all published products that content is human-made, Update this policy promptly if our practices change, with clear communication to our community, and never misrepresent the origin of any content we publish.

This artificial intelligence policy will be reviewed annually or whenever significant changes occur in the AI tools usage landscape that may affect our practices or the expectations of our community. Any updates will be versioned and dated. The co-founders of Akinji Entertainment are jointly responsible for maintaining and enforcing this policy.

Any individual engaged to produce creative work for Akinji Entertainment such as writers, artists, designers, and editors must fully adhere to this artificial intelligence policy regarding AI tools usage. They are required to confirm in writing that all submitted work is original and human-made, as well as disclose any inadvertent use of AI tools prior to submission. Please note that violating this policy may result in termination of the engagement.

Version 1.2 of the artificial intelligence policy will take effect in May 2026, reflecting the latest insights on AI tools usage, as discussed by Akinji Entertainment.
